Natural wonders of the world

After more than 100 million votes were cast to elect the Official New 7 Wonders of the World, the search is now under way for the Official New 7 Wonders of Nature.

A panel of experts has whittled down 440 nominations to a list of 28 finalists, including some of the Earth’s most iconic natural sights, as well as lesser-known marvels.

A public online vote will now decide the winning seven wonders, though the result won’t be officially declared until 2011. So, in the meantime, join us on a whistle-stop tour around the most awesome and jaw-dropping places this world has to offer.
